Terms of Service
Last updated: 11 October 2026 · Effective: 11 October 2026
1. Who we are
EPICeSIM is a trading name of Inventative LLC, a limited liability company registered in Delaware, United States (Delaware file number 3380149, formed 3 April 2024), at 16192 Coastal Highway, Lewes, Delaware 19958, United States. In these Terms “we”, “us” and “our” mean Inventative LLC trading as EPICeSIM, and “you” means the person buying or using our eSIMs.
Contact us at hello@epicesim.com or on WhatsApp at +44 7745 879264. We answer 7 days a week and reply to emails within 24 hours. The person responsible for Inventative LLC is Eduard Stephenson, Member.
We are the seller of every eSIM on epicesim.com. We buy network access from mobile network suppliers, but your contract is with us, and we are responsible for supplying what you bought. When you reach us through a partner’s link (for example, “Cape Town Tourism eSIM, powered by EPICeSIM”), you are still buying from us, and the partner may earn a commission.
2. These Terms and the other documents
These Terms apply to every purchase on epicesim.com. They should be read with our Refund and Cancellation Policy, Privacy Notice and Cookie Policy. The details shown for each plan on its product page and at checkout (destination, data, validity, price) also form part of your contract.
If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms takes away the rights you have under the consumer law of the country where you live that cannot be excluded by contract.
3. What you are buying
Each eSIM plan is made up of:
- a digital eSIM profile (sent by QR code and email, and shown in your account), which you install on your device; and
- a prepaid mobile data service for the destination, data allowance and validity period shown on the product page.
Unless the product page says otherwise, plans are data only: they do not include a phone number, calls or SMS, and they cannot be relied on for emergency calls. Speeds and coverage depend on the local network, your location, your device and network congestion. We describe the networks we expect to use, but local operators can change.
Validity starts when your eSIM first connects to a mobile network covered by the plan, not when you buy or install it, and runs for the number of days shown on the product page. If you install the eSIM before you travel, keep the eSIM line turned off until you arrive, so the plan doesn’t start early. Many plans also cover other countries, possibly including your home country; if the eSIM connects to any network the plan covers, the plan is activated and its validity starts.
Latest activation. An eSIM that has not been activated expires if it isn’t used in time: most plans must be activated within 6 months of purchase, and Orange plans must be installed within 12 months. The product page shows which applies. Some eSIMs can be scanned only once and cannot be moved to another device; the product page says when this applies.
Fair use. Plans described as “unlimited” are subject to the fair-use limits shown on the product page (for example a daily high-speed allowance, after which speed is reduced). You may not use a plan for automated or bulk traffic, reselling, or anything that harms the network. If you do, we may limit or suspend the plan after telling you why, unless we are required to act at once by the network operator or the law.
4. Your device
Before you buy, please check that:
- your device supports eSIM;
- your device is not locked to another mobile network; and
- your device model and region version supports eSIM (some versions sold in certain countries do not).
You need an internet connection to install the eSIM. Deleting an installed eSIM profile may mean it cannot be reinstalled; contact us before deleting it. We cannot refund an eSIM because your device turns out not to be compatible, so please check before you buy.
5. Buying, prices and payment
- Prices are shown in US dollars (USD). Where we show another currency at checkout, the amount you are charged in that currency is shown before you pay. Your bank or card provider may add its own fees.
- Prices include everything we charge. We do not currently charge VAT or sales tax; if we are ever required to, the price you see at checkout will include it.
- Payments are processed by Stripe and PayPal. We do not see your full card number.
- Your contract starts when we confirm your order by email. We may cancel an order and refund it in full if there is an obvious pricing error or if we cannot supply the plan.
6. Delivery and starting the service straight away
We deliver your eSIM by email and in your account immediately after payment. At checkout you ask us to start supplying the eSIM and service straight away, before any cancellation period ends. What this means for your cancellation rights is explained in our Refund and Cancellation Policy and in your order confirmation email.
7. Top-ups
Where a plan can be topped up, each top-up is a separate purchase under these Terms. Top-up data expires with the plan unless the product page says otherwise.
8. Refunds, cancellation and faults
Our Refund and Cancellation Policy sets out:
- that refunds are given for faulty eSIMs, not for a change of mind; and
- what we do if something goes wrong on our side.
It does not limit your legal rights.
9. Children and group travel
You must be 18 or over to buy from us. If you buy an eSIM for a child (for example for a school or sports trip), you are responsible for installing it, or for allowing it to be installed, on the child’s device. Data-only plans must not be the only way a child can contact you or the emergency services.
10. Using our website and account
Keep your account details safe. Don’t misuse the website, try to get around its security, or use it to break the law. We may suspend an account that is used for fraud or abuse.
11. Our responsibility to you
- We supply the eSIM and service with reasonable care and skill and as described.
- We are not responsible for losses we could not reasonably foresee, for problems caused by your device, its settings or its being locked, or for events outside our reasonable control (for example a network outage or a natural disaster). If such an event affects your plan, we will tell you and help where we can, including under our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
- If you are a consumer, our total liability to you for a plan is limited to the price you paid for it, except where the law does not allow us to limit liability. This includes death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and any rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.
- We are not liable for business losses. Our eSIMs are sold for personal use.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms, for example to reflect changes in the law or in our service. The version that applies to your order is the one shown when you bought it. We will not change the data, validity, destination or refund terms of a plan you have already bought, unless the law or a network operator requires it. If that happens we will tell you, and you may cancel the unused part for a refund.
13. Complaints
If something goes wrong, contact us at hello@epicesim.com or on WhatsApp at +44 7745 879264 with:
- your order number;
- your device model;
- your destination; and
- a short description or screenshot.
We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours. We aim to resolve them within 5 working days, or faster if your trip is short. If you are not happy with our answer, reply asking for it to be reviewed by a manager. You can still contact a consumer protection body, a court or your payment provider if the law allows you to.
14. Law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA. If you are a consumer, this choice does not take away any protection given to you by the law of the country (or US state) where you live that would otherwise apply. You may bring a claim in the courts of the place where you live, or in the state or federal courts in Delaware, which have non-exclusive jurisdiction. We do not require customers to use arbitration.
15. General
If a court decides that part of these Terms is invalid, the rest still applies. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to another company that takes over our business. If we do, we will tell you, and your rights will not be reduced. Nobody else has rights under these Terms. If we don’t enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
